About Anchor OT

Anchor OT helps you to understand your child’s occupational therapy needs and provides them (and you) with the tools to manage their everyday activities.

Navigating your child through life when they have difficulty engaging with everyday tasks can be many things: exhausting, surprising, isolating and rewarding – everything all at once. Anchor OT aims to provide a moment of stability and calm amidst the ups and downs to help you and your child set your future course together again.

Louise has provided Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention and support for children across the south of England for over 20 years. She has worked both as a therapist and manager within the NHS, education and in the private sector, working within mainstream and specialist schools, family homes, children’s centres, and in a Sensory Integration specialist centre.  Louise has worked closely with social care, child development centres and within multi-disciplinary teams, in particular with Speech and Language and Physiotherapist colleagues. She has many years’ experience of delivering high quality assessments for Tribunals.

Louise is passionate about delivering assessment and therapy in the most appropriate way for each child and family. No child or family has the same story and needs. Each require supporting in a way that works for them.
